I haven't touched the oil paints in a while, and steel sculpture is off limits until I have a studio space where I won't set the house on fire. I really look forward to moving back to the states...Space is something I don't think most folks really give a lot of thought to. I know I didn't in the past...But here, now, it's impossible to afford (rent) a space to work in--and I can't do it in the house. *sigh*
Next month we get the house on the market and then it'll be time to go from there. At least we both agree we want a place big enough we can both have studios. Won't that be a dream come true?

Don't get me wrong--I love playing with and making things for 1:6 scale. It's a fun hobby and I love feeling crafty about it. Sewing clothing, making furniture. But I miss being able to make things like the sculptures. I miss how it made me feel and I want that. I hunger for that.

Soon. I keep telling myself, maybe another year here at the worst (maybe). We'll sell the house, get his visa, and then be back in the states...

Sorry for whining on about this, but it's what's on my mind this morning.
